The Macallan Classic Cut 2025 Edition is a limited-edition single malt from the Macallan Estate in Speyside, and the ninth release in the annual Classic Cut series. It is bottled at 50.6% ABV.
The whisky is matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks and ex-bourbon barrels.
The official notes describe a nose of orange oil, barley sugar and milk chocolate, with vanilla panna cotta and baked apple turnover appearing when water is added. The palate brings icing sugar sweetness, grapefruit, mandarin, lemon-zested meringue and caramelised almonds. The finish is long, with grapefruit, melon and warming oak spice.
