This is a single malt Scotch whisky from Macallan, bottled at 45.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release marking 55 years since the 1971 premiere of the film Diamonds Are Forever, and continues the creative link between Macallan and James Bond.
The whisky was distilled in 2007 and matured for 18 years. Russell Greig drew on the film's plot, including Bond's knowledge of sherry and red wine. Sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks are joined by American oak casks that previously held red wine.
