The Nine Springs is a nine-year-old whisky from Number Nine, finished in PX casks after maturing in bourbon casks.
The PX finish brings sweetness and dark fruit, while the bourbon cask maturation adds balance, spice and structure.
The nose is intense and inviting, with dried fruits such as raisins and dates alongside vanilla, caramel, honey and fine wood. The palate is round and complex, with dark fruit, toffee and chocolate. The finish is long and harmonious, with a pleasant oak spice.
