This is the Inaugural release of Heritage Grains Rye from The Oxford Artisan Distillery in England. It was produced as 502 bottles, in a 70cl bottle each.
The nose is full of banana yoghurt, flowery herbs, freshly baked bread and caramel, with butter, clove, nutmeg and nuts. On the palate there is creamy banana bread, toasted sourdough, almonds and vanilla.
The finish brings praline, fresh rye and warming spices. Overall it is fruity and spicy, with layers of cream, bread and herbs.
