The Prisoner Red Blend Napa Valley

The Prisoner Red Blend is a Napa Valley red wine in California, inspired by the blends made by the Italian immigrants who first settled in the valley. It combines zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, petite sirah, syrah and charbono. The wine is aged in a mix of old and new French and American oak barrels. On the nose there are Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove and roasted fig. The palate brings raspberry, boysenberry and pomegranate, followed by a lingering vanilla note.
