The Yamazaki 18 Years Old Single Malt (70cl, 43%)

A Japanese single malt from the Yamazaki distillery, aged for 18 years and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is deep amber in colour and is described as rich with mature autumn fruit. The nose combines raisin, apricot, cafe au lait and Mizunara, the Japanese oak. On the palate there are blackberry, strawberry jam and dark chocolate, leading to a long, spicy and smooth finish.
