The Yamazaki 2015 Limited Edition Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

This is the 2015 limited edition from Yamazaki, the first malt distillery in Japan. It was created by Suntory's chief master blender as a blend of several single malts distilled and aged at Yamazaki, and is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The blend draws on young bourbon barrels and older sherry casks, some of them 20 years old or more according to the press release. The collector's bottle for this release shows the distillery's stills painted in the background, and the golden Yamazaki sign is written in Japanese.
