An 8 year old Clynelish from Thompson Bros, bottled in 2026 at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This is Batch 002.
The whisky was matured in a refill hogshead.
The nose is bright and zesty, with lemon zest, grapefruit peel, lime, marzipan biscuits, caramelised barley, melon rind, pineapple and canvas wax. On the palate come grapefruit peel, green olives, pineapple juice, lemon meringue pie, crème anglaise, beeswax and honey. The finish is long and buttery, with citrus oils, soft honey and caramelised barley.
