Thy Danish Single Malt is the core expression from Thy Whisky, a family-owned Danish distillery founded in 2010. It is an organic single estate whisky at 48% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, and is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The barley is grown on the distillery's own organic fields and malted on the family farm. The whisky is distilled once and matured in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximenez and bourbon casks.
It is balanced, full and fruity, with malty sweetness, vanilla and warm spices, plus a hint of beech smoke.
