This is a Danish single malt from Thy Whisky, a limited edition of 3,450 bottles for the global market. It is named after the North Sea, the Vesterhav, which lies close to the distillery. The whisky is a vatting of ex-bourbon casks filled between 2017 and 2021, so the whisky ranges from 4.5 to 8 years old. The malts used are pale, peated, beech-smoked and imperial barley malt. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is described as having peat smoke, citrus, sea salt, light fruit, vanilla and warm spices.
