This is a Danish single malt from Thy Whisky, a family-owned distillery founded in 2010. It is a single estate, organic whisky bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The barley is grown on the distillery's own organic fields, malted on the family farm and smoked with beechwood. The whisky then matured in Oloroso sherry casks. It is described as warm and sweet, with baked fruit, malty richness, dried fruit and beechwood smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
