Thy Whisky – Bøg

A Danish single malt made from 100% organic barley grown on the family's own fields in Thy. The malt is smoked with beech wood, which sets its smoke apart from the peat smoke of traditional whisky. The nose is light and elegant, with gentle smoke, caramel, vanilla and ripe fruit. The palate is soft and full, with toasted malt, dried fruit, spice and a pleasant sweetness. The finish is long and rounded, with subtle beech smoke, oak and a mild, spicy warmth.
