Thy Whisky – No. 13 Stovt

A lightly peated Danish single malt from Thy Whisky, put together from a selection of casks of different vintages. Some held bourbon and some oloroso sherry, and some of the malt was peated and some was not. After blending, the whisky was given a finish in stout casks that previously held the Limfjord Porter brewed at Thisted Bryghus. It is described as a run of sweet aromas of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, with liquorice root, citrus and oak. Beech smoke adds warmth and body, mingling with roasted malt sweetness in the finish.
