Thy Whisky – Spelt-Rye

Thy Whisky Spelt-Rye is a Danish rye whisky made from rye and spelt. The grain is organic and comes from the family's own fields in Thy. It was matured in carefully chosen oak casks. The whisky sets the spiced warmth of rye against the soft sweetness of spelt. The nose is fresh and full, with spice, dark caramel and light floral notes. On the palate it is rich and balanced, with spicy rye, nutty spelt, vanilla and a touch of fruit. The finish is long and rounded, with warming spice, soft malt sweetness and a little wood.
