Timboon Port Expression is an Australian single malt whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 44% ABV. It has been aged in American oak casks that previously held port. The heavy char of those casks leaves a faint hint of smoke at the end. The nose is typically described as gentle, with oak, caramel, butterscotch, dark chocolate, red berries and honey. The palate is soft and fruity with a whisper of vanilla, and carries its length right through. The finish brings a faint tingle of smoke.
