Tincup Fourteener 14 Year Old is a Colorado bourbon from Tincup Whiskey Co., bottled as Batch #3 at cask strength. The barrels were matured for 14 years in new charred American oak.
The mash bill is mostly corn, with rye and malted barley, and the barrels were hand-selected for how well spice, oak and fruit come together.
The nose has vanilla bean, toasted oak and caramelised sugar over baked plum and raisin, with cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate come brown sugar, butterscotch, apple compote, oak spice, roasted nut, dark chocolate and dried cherry. The finish is long and warming, with oak and a touch of citrus.
