Togouchi 4 Year Old 2020 Sakurao Single Cask 1st Fill Bourbon Barrel #5743 (70cl, 57%)

A 4 year old single cask Japanese single malt from Togouchi, made at the Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima. It was distilled in August 2020 and bottled in December 2024 from a single first fill bourbon barrel, giving 247 bottles at 57% ABV. This is a private cask bottling for Whisky Lovers Nagoya. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Sakurao Distillery is run by Sakurao Brewery and Distillery, which has been brewing and distilling for over 100 years. It makes malt whisky, grain whisky and gin, using custom-built stills.
