Togouchi 9 Year Old 2025 Edition (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi 9 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky that combines malt and grain whiskies, all matured for at least nine years in oak casks. Malt makes up just under 40% of the blend. It is composed and bottled by SAKURAO Brewery and Distillery, a company founded in 1918 in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, whose distillery was completed in 2017. This version comes in a redesigned presentation for 2025. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle, chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose is intense, with sweet spices and yellow fruit. The palate is fresh and dry, with spice and citrus. The finish is lively, with spice, citrus, peat and a light smoke.
