Togouchi 9 Year Old is a Japanese blended whisky made by Sakurao Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was aged for nine years in bourbon barrels, and the blend is composed of 38% malted barley.
It matures in a former railway tunnel near Hiroshima, where cool, humid conditions give a light, smooth character. White flowers, honey, peppermint and gentle wood spice are the notes to expect.
