Togouchi Japanese Blended Whisky Sake Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi Sake Cask Finish is a blended Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It combines malt and grain whisky distilled and aged by Sakurao Distillery. The blend is finished in casks that previously held junmai-shu, a pure rice sake brewed by the distillery. The sake's mellow sweetness and acidity give the whisky an estery aroma. The colour is deep golden. The nose is green apple and spices. On the palate come the sweetness of melons and Muscat grapes with an acidity like white wine. The finish is sweet and fragrant, with white grape acidity and a smooth malty flavour.
