Togouchi Peated Cask Finish Japanese Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi Peated Cask Finish is a Japanese blended whisky from Sakurao Distillery in Hiroshima, combining single malt and single grain whiskies. It is first matured at the distillery, then moves to an underground railway tunnel inside Mount Osorakan, where conditions allow slow, even maturation. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The finish comes from casks that previously held smoky whisky. It is described as having a distinct smoky character with a rich sweetness, as though gently smoked.
