Togouchi – Sake Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

Togouchi Sake Cask Finish is a Japanese whisky at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The makers matured their own junmai sake in oak casks of the kind used for white wine in Japanese wineries, then used those sake casks to finish the whisky. It is described as having a light fruit scent, a moderate acidity from the white wine and sake, and a brown sugar sweetness from the wood finish, all coming together in a mellow, fruity harmony.
