Tomatin 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery's French Collection, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered. After 12 years in oak, the whisky was moved into Monbazillac sweet wine casks from south-west France for a finishing period before bottling. The nose offers honey-coated apricot, vanilla custard and orange marmalade, with toasted oak and light floral notes. The palate is rich and honeyed, with orchard fruit, caramelised pear, golden raisins, sweet spice and nougat. The finish is medium to long, with honeyed fruit, baking spices and a gentle oak dryness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
