Tomatin 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt finished in port casks and bottled at 46% without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
It spends most of its life in American oak bourbon barrels before a final period in Portuguese port wine casks.
The nose is usually described as red berries, honey and vanilla, with nutmeg, dark chocolate and toasted oak. The palate brings berry fruits, dried apricots and sweet maltiness, then spiced toffee and cinnamon with a gentle vinous note from the port. The finish is long, with dried fruits, light oak spice and a touch of sweetness.
