Tomatin 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery's Portuguese Collection, which has three expressions. This is the Port cask bottling.
It was first matured in traditional oak and then finished in Port wine casks from Portugal. It is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is typically described as dark fruit, plums and blackberries, with vanilla, caramel and a hint of port. The palate offers red berries, stewed fruit and chocolate, with oak spice, nutmeg and a creamy texture. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, gentle oak tannins and sweet port character.
