A 21 year old single cask Highland malt from Tomatin, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2021. It comes from a single sherry cask, number 43403, and is bottled at cask strength, 54.8% ABV, without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has dried fruits, dark chocolate and oak spice, with orange zest, roasted nuts and tobacco leaf. The palate shows raisins, figs and dates, with toasted oak, dark chocolate, warming spice, leather and roasted coffee. The finish is long, with dried fruit, oak spice, dark chocolate and a gentle warmth.
