This is a single cask Tomatin from the Highlands, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 52.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was selected and bottled by Cooper's Choice. The whisky spent nine years in a single Sauternes wine cask, number 3190, and is non-chill filtered. The nose shows honey, apricot preserves and vanilla custard with floral notes and toasted oak. On the palate are poached pear, golden raisins, caramelised orange peel and toasted almonds, with gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warming, with honeyed sweetness, dried fruit and a little wine tannin fading to oak dryness.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
