Tomatin – Cask Strength 57.5% (70cl, 57.5%)

Tomatin Cask Strength is a Highland single malt bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.5%, in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill filtered. The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks. The distillery draws its water from the Alt-na-Frith burn in the Monadhliath Mountains. The nose is rich vanilla, orchard fruits and honey, with hints of cinnamon and subtle oak. On the palate it is fruity, with apples, pears and citrus, then butterscotch, warm spices and a touch of sherry. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruits, oak and gentle spice.
