Creation #5 is a lightly peated Highland single malt from Tomatin's Cù Bòcan range, bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was first matured in traditional oak, then finished in Colombian Andean oak casks made from Quercus humboldtii. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
On the nose there is gentle peat smoke with tropical fruit, herbs, vanilla and exotic spice. The palate pairs delicate smoke and honeyed sweetness with vanilla, spiced chocolate and toasted coconut. The finish is medium to long, with smoke, warming spice and a herbaceous note.
