Tomatin – Italian Trio Barolo Cask

Tomatin Italian Trio Barolo Cask is a limited edition Highland single malt. The whisky spends its first 10 years in traditional casks, then moves into casks that previously held Barolo wine. The Italian Trio series draws on wine casks from regions including Piedmont, Veneto and Sicily. The nose brings spiced glogg and dark chocolate. On the palate it recalls a spicy mead with cranberry, with a fresh grapefruit undertone, and the finish has light tannin and sugar-coated almonds.
