Tomatin Legacy is a Highland single malt without an age statement, bottled at 43%. Its casks were chosen for flavour rather than age.
The whisky is distilled twice in Tomatin's copper pot stills and matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and virgin oak casks. The distillery draws its water from the Alt-na-Frith burn.
The nose is light and fresh, with vanilla, marshmallow, pineapple and lemon. The palate is gentle, with sweet vanilla, caramel and ripe apple over subtle oak. The finish is clean, with vanilla, light spice and a touch of citrus.
