Tomatin Legacy is a Highland single malt matured in traditional ex-bourbon casks, with a portion of the whisky ageing in virgin oak casks for extra spice.
Tomatin is a Highland distillery that was bought by Japanese investors in 1984. The sweetness the distillery is known for runs through this bottling.
The nose brings vanilla pods, marshmallow, a hint of shortcake and fresh pineapple, mixed with citrus, lemon and boiled sweets. The palate is light and delicate, with lemon sorbet, crisp green apple and a trace of pine, and the finish is clean and refreshing.
