An 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle, finished in toasted Oregon Garry Oak staves. It is bottled at 90 proof, with the strength set using glacier-fed spring water from Mount Hood.
The oak finish is what sets it apart, adding roasted hazelnut and spice to the Kentucky bourbon beneath.
The nose is deep and earthy, with roasted hazelnut, warm vanilla, sweet pine and dark caramel. The palate is rich, velvety and sweet, with dark chocolate, toasted nuts and honey over a spicy, oaky backbone. The finish is smooth, long and warming, with toasted oak and sweet spice.
