True Story Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in White Moscatel Casks (45%)

A Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 90 proof, matured for five to six years in charred American white oak and then finished in White Moscatel casks. The finish lasts a further three to six months in casks that previously held the Portuguese wine, and it is what sets this bourbon apart from a conventional bottling. It is described as having a core of vanilla, caramel and spice, brightened by soft florals and white orchard fruit, with hints of honeysuckle, honey and classic oak.
