Tullamore D.E.W. 14 Year Old Triple Distilled - Bourbon, Sherry, Port & Madeira Casks Finish (70cl, 41.3%)

This is a 14-year-old Irish single malt from Tullamore D.E.W., made with single malt from the Midleton Distillery and bottled at 41.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled and matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in four types of cask: bourbon, oloroso sherry, port and madeira. Ripe apples, sweet citrus and tropical fruit make up the fruity core, with vanilla and oak adding structure. The nose is lively and fruit-led, with ripe apple, sweet citrus and a hint of tropical fruit alongside vanilla and oak. The palate is rich and sweet, with layers of fruit, oak and restrained spice. The sweetness stays long in the finish.
