Tullamore Dew – The Legendary Irish Blended Whiskey (2000s) (1L, 40%)

This is Tullamore Dew The Legendary, an Irish blended whiskey bottled in the early 2000s at 40% ABV in a one litre bottle. It carries black labelling, which was later replaced by green labels before 2011. The blend combines pot still, malt and grain whiskey. It is triple distilled and matured in refilled American oak, bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry barrels from Spain. Tasting notes describe green apple, citrus and vanilla on the nose, and a fruity, sweet palate with toasted wood and marzipan. The finish is buttery, soft and mild.
