Two Stacks – Irish Whiskey Apricot Brandy Finish

An Irish whiskey from the independent brand Two Stacks, finished in apricot brandy casks. The blend brings together single grain, pot still, double malt and lightly peated malt whiskeys, first matured in virgin oak, bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The nose is led by apricot and peach, with marzipan, vanilla and bright citrus. On the palate ripe apricot meets honey, caramel and toasted almonds, with light spice and oak giving structure. The finish is fruity and sweet, with nutty warmth and marzipan and spice.
