Umiki is a Japanese whisky blended from malt whiskies distilled by the ocean and imported grain whiskies. Desalinated ocean water is added, and the whisky is finished in Japanese pine barrels.
It is described as the first whisky fused with the ocean.
There is a hint of sea breeze on the nose, a rounded floral flavour on the palate and a calming vigour in the finish.
