Volcán de Mi Tierra Blanco Tequila (75cl, 40%)

Volcán de Mi Tierra Blanco is an unaged tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave, with no barrel ageing or finishing. It is confirmed additive-free and is produced entirely at NOM 1523, a single-estate distillery that is one of only twenty in Mexico. The agave is grown by the Gallardo family, who have farmed the volcanic slopes beneath the Volcán de Tequila since 1774. Highland and Lowland agave are blended, then cooked in brick ovens, fermented in open wooden vats and distilled in copper pot stills. Expect cooked and raw agave, Rainier cherry, green apple, pear, citrus and lavender, with a mineral edge and an oily mouthfeel.
