MAX is the house Riesling of the Von Othegraven estate in Kanzem on the Saar, made in a dry Trocken style from the 2021 vintage and bottled at 11.5% ABV.
It is built from the estate's best site, the Kanzemer Altenberg, a steep, south-southeast facing slope of red Devonian slate above the old Saar riverbed. The wine is fermented spontaneously in stainless steel and matured on fine lees.
The style is crisp and juicy, with zesty citrus, firm acidity and a mineral pull.
