Waterford – Ballymorgan Single Farm Origin Irish Single Malt Edition 1.2 (70cl, 50%)

This is Edition 1.2 of Waterford's Ballymorgan single farm Irish single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 50%. The barley was grown entirely by Robert Milne at Ballymorgan Farm in Wexford. The whisky was distilled at Waterford and matured in a mix of French and American oak. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose is freshly cut hay, orange peel and ginger, with light maltiness, white chocolate and sea spray. On the palate come creamy vanilla, lemon tart, sweet cereal, green apple and clove. The finish fades on toasted barley, citrus zest and spice, with a dry minerality.
