Waterford – Lakefield Edition 1.1 Single Farm Origin (70cl, 50%)

Lakefield Edition 1.1 is an Irish single malt from Waterford, part of its Single Farm Origin series. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. It is made from 100% Irish barley grown at Lakefield Farm in County Laois, distilled and matured separately from the barley of other farms. Each bottle carries a TÉIREOIR code that opens details of the farm, the harvest conditions and the soil types. The nose has fresh hay, lime zest, malted barley and a little white pepper. The palate is crisp and earthy, with green apple, lemon peel, herbal tea and malt sugars. The finish is long, clean and dry, with spice, green oak and cereal sweetness.
