Watt Whisky Ardnamurchan 7 Year Old (70cl, 58.3%)

This is a single cask, peated Ardnamurchan aged 7 years, selected by Mark and Kate Watt. It was distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2025 from a first-fill barrel, giving 251 bottles at a cask strength of 58.3%. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered. Ardnamurchan sits about as far west on the Scottish mainland as it is possible to go, and the distillery is described as lightly peated. The nose brings orange, eucalyptus and smoke, with creamy vanilla and a touch of funk. On the palate the texture is creamy, with peaty smoke, orange, quince and seaweed. The finish carries lingering smoke and salt.
