This is a single cask Caol Ila from Islay, distilled in 2013 and matured for nine years in a hogshead before bottling in 2023. It comes from an edition of 306 bottles, presented in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 59.6%.
The independent bottler Watt Whisky selected the cask. It was bottled without added colouring and without chill filtration.
The tasting notes describe peat smoke with maritime and mineral character, alongside citrus, malt and a light sweetness.
