West Cork Cask Strength is an Irish whiskey matured in first-fill bourbon casks. It is described as punchy and robust. It comes from the West Cork distillery in Skibbereen, which was started in 2003 by John O'Connell, Denis McCarthy and Ger McCarthy at Union Hall and moved to a larger site in 2013. The distillery works with spring water, barley and wheat, and two stills.
