West Cork Glengarriff Peat Charred is an Irish single malt whiskey from the Glengarriff Series, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle and made by hand in Ireland.
The peat character does not come from the spirit. Instead, the casks are charred with the fire and smoke of burning peat blocks.
The nose and palate show light peat and smoke, with touches of fruit and herbs.
