Westland – Colere III American Single Malt (70cl, 50%)

Westland Colere III is an American single malt, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to Westland's Outpost Range, and the Colere series explores how different barley varieties shape the whiskey. This edition is made with the Pilot barley variety and aged only in used casks, so that the wood stays in the background and the grain comes forward. On the nose there is fresh-cut grass, honeysuckle, sweet cereal and light citrus peel. The palate offers toasted oats, warm honey, shortbread and a touch of white pepper, and the finish is clean and crisp with lingering floral notes and soft malt.
