Westland Flagship is an American single malt from Westland Distillery in Seattle, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is made entirely from malted barley, using a five-malt grain bill, and aged in heavily toasted oak casks.
The nose has dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, sweet almond and warm vanilla pastry. On the palate come chocolate truffles, toasted malt, honey and a hint of dark cherry, with a full body. The finish is long, with roasted nuts and sweet cocoa.
