Westland – Outpost Range Garryana 5th Edition American Single Malt (70cl)

Garryana 5th Edition is an American single malt from Westland, part of its Outpost Range of single malt releases. The range sits alongside Colere and Solum. This edition is built simply, from pale malt spirit and peated spirit, with Garry oak casks making up a large part of the blend. It is bottled in a 70cl bottle. The nose opens with a sweet cottonwood fragrance, then Waffle Crisps cereal and rich smoked chocolate. The palate leads with classic barbecue notes, spicy and savoury like burnt ends, alongside cacao butter, charred maple wood and clove.
