Westward Rum Cask is an American whiskey finished in Magdalena rum casks, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The rum for those casks came from the Westward team's own Guatemalan rum, made with a patient, gradual fermentation. The expression draws on the founder's Guatemalan heritage and the American Northwest.
Tropical, fruity aromas are the main feature, set alongside the bold, robust character of the Westward range.
